fatal distraction???

... I had this cool/ beautiful dream last night. The setting was a real rainy, beautiful, grey day and I was driving in the desert. I passed a pack of animals walking down the sidewalk together. I remember feeling very surprised to actually be witnessing such a thing. I was so surprised and in unbelief about what I had seen that I had to turn around. As I turned around, I saw that my eyes weren't deceiving me...the loveliest surprise: animals of every kind being friends, walking together, no fighting... nothing. fox, geese, bunnies, birdies, bears and it gave me the best feeling... I hope it is a good omen dream:) that or I have been loving animals things way too much lately??

today i just wanted to say thank.you to all the friends and family that have been so thoughtful over the last little bit. Thank-you for all your kindness, it is so much appreciated... I am so lucky to have such wonderful f and f. that's why I chose this pic b/c I feel like no matter what happens, I have a bunch of betties smiling back at me: giving me courage...

I loved this movie- also... Oh man, genius I tell you... good minds... I couldn't believe the attention to detail and the beauty of it. amazing. Plus I have been gardening this week and it was very inspiring to me that way...it reminds me of these lyrics I jotted down last year that I like much... "living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see..."- The Beatles.

Birthday

went to Zion, and my- was it beautiful. Went hiking, Leo was soo good and there was all these wonderful dead forests and witch huts and fairyland type things that were so enchanting. Stayed at Sean's house went outside and to our surprise a whole little farm of lambies that were to die for. I want a lambie so bad!! found my da da dream house that we will buy someday with a homemade pool in back and beautiful view... went to my fav restaurant bit.n.spur -remembered my cam, and took pics for once.. and micah did whatever I wanted... the whole weekend. whateves. went to my fav bead shop etc etc....it

This Valentine's I was reminded to tell you to let us all hold on tight to loved ones we have. When some one's light brings out your light into the world in whatever form that is love to me... This Valentine's was my dad Stephen Meredith Nelson's funeral. and this is the poem I read at it. I wrote it after picking him up at the hospital after one of his cancer treatments.
