I just found out the saddest new ever... Hive failure. Bee extinction... Albert Einstein once said " if the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, man would only have four years of life left..." I mean if you think about it they have been on this earth since the dinosaurs, and are they so vital to the whole system of nature and our survival. No fruits or veggies... One in every three bites of food depends on the pollination of bees. They don't have an explanation of where the bees are disappearing to or why?? They just aren't returning to their hives... sooo sad. pray for the bees!!!
I also decided that I am going to consume less, a lot less.Consumerism is such a greedy and wasteful cycle, using so much uneeded resources. Think just for the packaging and then on top of that the actual product, that a lot of time we don't really need. Sometimes I just think we are so greedy and selfish and I am really going to try not to be like that. I don't know it makes me sad what we have done to the earth and ourselves sometimes...

Pic's of the Beale's. Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale (October 5, 1894-February 5, 1977), aunt of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, made world headlines for the deplorable conditions of her mansion and eccentric relationship with her daughter Edith Bouvier Beale that was highlighted in the documentary Grey Gardens.
She was the daughter of John Vernou Bouvier II and Maude Sergeant Bouvier (the paternal grandparents of the First Lady).
She pursued a singing career and married lawyer/financier Phelan Beale. They had three children, including two boys (Phelan Beale, Jr., and Bouvier Beale). Their daughter Edith (who was referred to as "Little Edie") was born on November 7, 1917. The Beales separated in 1931 when Little Edie was 14, with "Big Edie" getting the 28-room Grey Gardens mansion on Lily Pond Lane in the Georgica Pond neighborhod of East Hampton, a block from the Atlantic Ocean.
In the 1970s, the First Lady's sister Lee Radziwill discussed creating a documentary with Albert and David Maysles about Jacqueline's girlhood in East Hampton. At about the same time the Edies made national attention when the National Enquirer ran an expose on the deplorable conditions in which the Beales lived. The Suffolk County, New York Board of Health made a raid, ordering them to clean up the property which was falling into disrepair and was being overrun with feral cats.
The Maysles interviewed the Edies and showed the footage to Radziwill, who confiscated the film.[1] However the Maysles returned and the focus of their documentary was the Edies, instead of the First Lady.
The Edies proved to be quite quotable. Among Big Edie's quotes:
I didn't want my child to be taken away. I'd be entirely alone.
And in response to the odor of the cats.
I love that smell. I thrive on it. It makes me feel good... I am not ashamed of anything. Where my body is a very precious place.
After the publicity Jacqueline and Aristotle Onassis donated $32,000 to clean the house and install a new furnace and plumbing system, and cart away 1,000 bags of garbage.
She died at Southampton Hospital in Southampton, New York, following a fall after one of the wheels of her mobile commode fell off.[2]. She is buried in the Bouvier family plot at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in East Hampton.
In 2006 the musical Grey Gardens (musical) opened on Broadway.
A movie is planned.

Don't stop, Don't stop now, just keep on going... until I come in.

This is the kinda of shapes I want for the first page of aedicule website something real organic and simple and little abstract and soft. Also like Emma Cook's flash page on her website.

This is a sobriety calendar that I made for Micah, I got it of his page. I really wish I was better at documentation. For some reason I get really impatient with trying to capture moments or things with film, I'm not sure why?? I admire others who are good at it, so much. I might just be too impulsive and too into the moment of things, maybe it has to do with my anxiety? But I really wish I had more pic's of my creations, so I am really going to make it a goal to be a better documentor.

The Lamentation; done by Giotto, an Italian architect and artisit who broke away from Byzantine art and created a more natural, emotional style of painting. I love the way he depicts not only angels, but people also to have something that looks like glowing crowns of glory. That has always been one of my faviorite aspects, also the way he puts emotion into it. I have had the idea for a while to make an angel doll that has a glowing crown with mosiac butterfly wings, maybe someday. I like a lot of the religious art from this time period b/c of the emotion and the way it more realistically portrays Christ's life. I think I really admire Giotto and his works because he was such a strong perosn that paved his own way and then others followed.

Lula is the best new magazine, it has only come out with four editions and the fourth is the only one that I have seen but it is so great. Lauren showed it to me and I am obsessed it is very aspirational and intersting... what up? so good soo good. yeah.
